Random Reads # 2 - Wish You Were Here by Phillipa Ashley

Hey guys! It's time for the second post of Random Reads by I'm Loving Books. It's about choosing a book by random once a month and reading it! It's perfect for people like me, who has tons of books to read and is kind of lost.

So... Want to join in on Random Reads?
  • If you’re on Goodreads enable sorting to your to-read shelf (you should see numbers next to each book now).
  • Go to Random.org and type in the Min as 1 and the Max as how many ever books are on your to-read shelf.
  • Scroll down to the book matching the number Random.org picks.
  • Link up to your Random Reads post.
  • Read and be merry.
I've organized my shelves of Goodreads (finally!), erased lots of books I'm not interested anymore and made a wishlist shelf for all the books I want. So, my To Be Read shelf has now all the books I have in my hands and still have to read :) Right now, it has 144 books!

Anyway, Random.org chose...#130: Wish You Were Here by Phillipa Ashley

Can a whirlwind romance ever go the distance?

When Jack proposes to Beth at the end of a holiday romance, she doesn't think twice--she knows he's The One. But then Jack walks out soon after their return, with no explanation, no nothing.

Eight years on and Beth finds a fantastic new job--working for Jack. She could definitely do without having to face him everyday, but then she can't do without the job...

As the two of them are forced to spend time together, Beth unravels the mystery of Jack's disappearance. Is there too much baggage for them to try again--or could they finally be in the right place at the right time?
I loved Dating Mr December by Phillipa Ashley, so I'm pretty excited about this one :)

  1. Ohh I haven't heard of this one, but it looks really cute!

And good call on organizing/purging your Goodreads shelves. That's exactly what I did before starting this meme. I really should even do it again to cut down even more, but it felt good to get rid of a good 100 books that I added cause they looked good at the time, but really I didn't have too many hardcore plans on reading. lol

  2. I haven't heard of this either, but it does sound good! Thanks for the goodreads organizing tip--I'm always trying to figure out how to make mine more manageable!
