Happy New Year 2013!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

2012 was actually great for me. Some bad stuff happened in my family, but as always, we were strong enough to take. It has been a happy year, and I'm very thankful :)

But my favorite memory of 2012 is my trip to Orlando with my boyfriend. I haven't been there since I was like 12 years, and it was my first time at Disney. You can imagine my excitement, here are some pictures!

Hogwarts @ Island of Adventures! If you are a fan of Harry Potter, please go!! It's amazing, the best atracctions! :D And go with lots of money, the shops have great stuff.

Epcot! My favorite photo is this one with Tiger and Pooh, they were so cute!

Magic Kingdom! I went to the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and enjoyed it so much, very cool :)

I was there for only 7 days, but I want to go back next year. I did a lot of shopping, and also went to the Cirque du Soleil at Downtown Disney, but I didn't have time (and money xD) to visit Sea World, Animal Kingdom and Disney Hollywood Studios. Maybe next year, right? ;)

Book Review: Jingle This! by Stephanie Rowe

Title: Jingle This!
Author: Stephanie Rowe
Published: November 1st 2012
Age: Adult
Love. Diamonds. Mistletoe. And a one-on-one holiday assignment with a very sexy boss. Put it all together, and it's enough to ruin a girl's day.

Angie Miller has to write sizzling, evocative, heart-melting holiday stories about love, romance and diamonds for her company's newest client…an assignment that isn't so easy when she's just had her heart broken. When her first not-so-cheery story nearly gets her company fired, her boss Kyle Black makes it his personal mission to get Angie in the right mood to wax poetic about love and romance. The fact that there's three years' worth of unrequited sexual tension simmering between them? It just makes it all the more interesting when Kyle shows up in her office with his oh-so-broad shoulders, smoldering smile and…oh, yeah… his slightly autocratic ways… How is Angie supposed to find her muse again when Kyle keeps trying to have his way with her? Not "that" kind of way, but a girl can dream…
Jingle This! is a short story about Angie Miller, a writer who has been just dumped by her three years boyfriend just when she was expecting an engagement ring. Now she can't write about love, but her boss Kyle Black is sure he can get her into the romance-writing mood.

I read this while waiting at the airports. It was entertaining and easy to read, but I couldn't understand how Angie and Kyle could feel attraction to each other after their complicated past (including him dating her sister!). I don't think I could forget something like that, but anyway, they had chemistry and were destined to have a HEA after three years of sexual tension. Angie was sometimes silly, she said her heart was broken but her ex was an idiot and she immediately fall in love with Kyle. Kyle wasn't very nice with her either at first. and Angie's family were also kind of mean with her, so I didn't liked them either.

But anyway, Jingle This! is a nice and short story to read in a couple of hours before or after Christmas :)

Book Review: Romancing the Holiday by Jaci Burton, HelenKay Dimon, Christi Barth

Authors: Jaci Burton, HelenKay Dimon, Christi Barth
Release Date: December 3rd 2012
Publisher: Carina Press
Age: Adult
We wish you a merry Christmas…and a happily ever after!

A memorable three-night stand gets rekindled in a cabin in West Virginia. An office romance is sparked by an impulsive holiday kiss. And two best friends scout locations for a marriage proposal and discover that they make a perfect match. 'Tis the season for laughter, love and a lifetime of happiness.

Edited by Angela James this anthology includes:

We'll Be Home for Christmas by HelenKay Dimon
The Best Thing by Jaci Burton
Ask Her at Christmas by Christi Barth
We'll Be Home for Christmas (Holloway #3) by HelenKay Dimon follows the story of Spence and Lila, who met before at a hotel and spent three nights together, but never thought about seeing each other again. Lila is at his home town to stay, and Spence only wants her out....or maybe 'rescue' her and take her to bed again. I can say this one was my favorite story, it was realistic the way Spence and Lila fell in love. I remember reading another story of HelenKay Dimon, that is actually linked to this one so it was great to see old characters.

The Best Thing by Jaci Burton (Kent Brothers #3) was another sweet surprise, because I found characters from another Christmas story I read last year hehe. I actually liked more this one, Brodi and Tori kissed each other last Christmas and it hasn't been the same since then. This year, Brodi is ready to easy things, but instead ends up spending the whole weekend with her! Everything is perfect, except Brodi's family, who keep asking him when he's getting married. Brodi is the perfect example of why you should never pressure someone to get married! You should be able to make the decision yourself, without all your family watching you and warning you not to hurt the other one.

Ask Her at Christmas by Christi Barth is a very cute story of two best friends, Caitlin and Kyle, who find sparkles in their relationship, just before Kyle gets engaged with another woman! Caitlin has always loved Kyle, but Kyle hasn't explored his feelings for her, mostly because of his fear to his father. Kyle was very weak most of the book, and maybe that's why I didn't love this story. I wanted him to fight more.

Overall, Romancing the Holiday offers three sweet (and sometimes sexy) love stories perfect to read for Christmas! You shouldn't miss it :)
