My review:

I discovered Jenny Colgan from another Christmas book I read and loved, The Christmas Bookshop. So I wanted to try this is a short novella for the 2024 Ho Ho How Read a Thon.

Mirren's aunt Violet is dying and she asks her to find a book her father used to read to her and her childhood best friend many years ago. The book is very special but almost impossible to find. But Mirren starts a journey looking for it and finds Theo, a hot guy who starts helping her in this search.

It was very interesting to follow Mirren's journey looking for the book and I really loved the back story of her aunt and her friend. It's very short so there isn't really a whole romance story but little things here and there. It has a sweet ending, so I feel like it's perfect if you are looking for a cute but short story to read in only one day.
