"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking The Spine , that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. My pick: It isn’t easy being the rather overlooked and unhappy youngest sibling to sisters named for the other six days of the week. Sunday’s only comfort is writing stories, although what she writes has a terrible tendency to come true. When Sunday meets an enchanted frog who asks about her stories, the two become friends. Soon that friendship deepens into something magical. One night Sunday kisses her frog goodbye and leaves, not realizing that her love has transformed him back into Rumbold, the crown prince of Arilland—and a man Sunday’s family despises. The prince returns to his castle, intent on making Sunday fall in love with him as the man he is, not the frog he was. But Sunday is not so easy to woo. How can she feel such a strange, strong attraction for this prince she barely knows? And what twisted secrets lie ...
I read I am Malala last year and really enjoyed it. She is such an inspiring person.
ReplyDeleteShe is, right? I want to know more of her.
DeleteI'm trying to decide if I should give Looking for Alaska a chance. I loved TFIOS, but since a friend completely to me, it's just not exciting anymore. But maybe I'll read it before the movie comes out. Still, hope you come to enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteThanks! A friend told me it wasn't so amazing but I still want to read it and see for myself.
DeleteI haven't read any of these, but the first three have been on my TBR mountain chain for awhile now. *Sigh* So many books, so little time ...
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
Same feeling....so many books!!
DeleteCreature of Moonlight has always seemed so interesting! And I do love that cover.
ReplyDeleteThe cover is so pretty *_*
DeleteI am Malala is actually a book I bought for my mother's birthday a few years ago and now that she is done with it I do want to read it myself as well! I have watched the movie Persepolis and loved it, so I want to try the book as well. And lastly, I have read Looking for Alaska and found it to be a decent read, but not one I loved. Some nice addictions there!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about Persepolis, the movie! I'll have to watch it someday :)
