12th Annual Ho-Ho-Ho Readathon


I am excited to join the 12th Annual Ho-Ho-Ho Readathon. This year’s event will take place on Thursday, November 21st through Monday, December 2nd, 2024. During the event, participants will read or listen to as many holiday or winter reads as they can, while taking part in challenges. Prizes, hot cocoa, bookish friends and more!

This year the annual Ho-Ho-Ho Readathon will begin at 12:01 am Thursday November 21st and will end Monday, December 2nd at 11:59 pm in your time zone. Giving us twelve days of fun.

Get your holiday & winter setting books and be prepared to have fun! Audiobooks, library books, ebooks, old books or new books we don’t care. Don’t forget the hot chocolate!

9:29 pm: The Christmas Bookshop 41% read. I'm really liking it.

3:30 pm: The Christmas Bookshop 60% read. I hope I can finish it tonight. It's really good. Also I posted day 2 of 12 days of Bookstagram Challenge here.

6:07 am Good morning! I just participated in the Library Sleigh Challenge for the Ho-Ho-Ho Readathon.


6:19 am: I just participared in the HoHoHoRAT Mini Challenge! Share a Holiday Recipe. I shared 3 of my favorite recipes for the season, they are from Venezuela and Chile, where my family and I are from. We love cooking together and listening to Christmas songs, even my 5 yeard old son helps.

10 am: progress 34% The Christmas Tree Farm. I didn't expect to be so busy but for the next two weeks I have a Christmas event at school almost every.

6:33 am: I woke up super early and have been reading for a while. Progress: 60% The Christmas Tree Farm. 
12:49 pm: Finished The Christmas Tree Farm, really liked it. I also posted day 4 of the 12 Days of Bookstagram on my instagram @gabyimaginarias
5:00 pm: I took a break from romance and read How the Grinch stole Christmas!. I've never read it before, can you believe it ? 
5:21 pm: I posted day 6 of the 12 Days of Bookstagram Challenge.

7 am Finished reading A Cat Café Christmas by Codi Gary, it was lovely. 
8 am Now I'm starting to read The Christmas Book Hunt by Jenny Colgan. It's a short novella so I think it would be perfect to wrap up the read a thon.
11:30 am progress 56% The Christmas Book Hunt
3:50 pm I finished The Christmas Book Hunt by Jenny Colgan. My fifth and last book for the read a thon.
