Sven Klaus, Chief Toy Designer for Klaus Enterprises, will protect his family at any cost. He's prepared to battle the most threatening adversaries to do it--frost flowers, snowstorms, Yeti. And beautiful tenacious tabloid journalists.Andi De Luca's reporting career is built on lies--about corrupt politicians, greedy Hollywood stars, and Bigfoot. Now she's determined to uncover the truth about Klaus Enterprises, and she always gets her story. Even if it means revealing her own secret desires to Santa's son. After all the lies and deception are exposed, will Andi and Sven survive this North Pole adventure? Or will YETI MAKE THEM DEADY?Penny Watson presents a 45,000-word holiday fantasy romance, #3 in the Klaus Brothers Series. Includes paranormal phenomena, Christmas spirit, and yes...an abominable snowmonster.
I just love Penny Watson's books and Sweet Adventure isn't the exception. I've been dying to read it for so long and it was what I wanted: A fun, sexy and sometimes sweet Christmas romance.
Andi De Luca is a reporter and wants to uncover the truth about Klaus Enterprises. Who works for them? Nobody knows! So she wants to interview Sven Klaus, Chief Toy Designer for Klaus Enterprises.
The problem is he doesn't want an interview, and Andi always get her story. But after feeling attraction at a party, and Andi following him to his home, the North Pole, Sven can't shake her off and maybe he doesn't want to....
Andi may appear cold-heart at first, only interested in the story, but she really is a caring and good person. Sven wasn't sure of that until the end, and I was a little bit mad with him for that but I guess I can forgive him because of his long hair...and the great surprise at the end. I wanted the story to be longer so they could get to know better because at first I thought their romance was going too fast but in the end it felt like what they had was true love and should be together forever.
I love this series, Klaus Brothers, and I'd definitely recommend Sweet Adventure if you are looking for a holiday romance with the exact amount of fun, sparks, sexiness and sweetness.
