Tv Series Review: Fuller House

Image
I remember watching Full House when I was a kid, but I guess I didn't care a lot about it. But now I'm obsessed with Fuller House and made my husband watch it too haha. Fuller House is sweet, goofy, soppy and heartwarming. All the girls are adults now and trying to raise their children, sometimes with the help of their father and uncles. I love to see all the craziness in their house, trying to raise good kids, but having fun and being able to do other things than only being mothers. It's a family show, you don't have to worry about language or anything else, you could just sit with your kids to watch it. It may not have a deep plot, but for me is perfect for a day after work when you just want to have fun and watch something light. Little spoiler over here --->> Also,  I love that DJ is a veterinarian! Because I'm a veterinarian and I dream about having my own clinic and be able to raise my future kids haha. <<---

TV Series Review: GIRLS

Image
GIRLS is a series about 4 women in their 20's and living in New York. They are trying to figure out what to do with their lives and how to do it. Hannah (Lena Dunham), Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna have very different personalities, but they manage to be friends. I don't think I have a favorite, sometimes I liked one of them and sometimes I hated them for being so dramatic or self destructive. There are lots of sex scene, some drugs, but mostly women being very immature and doing crazy things. I'm not sure if New York is so crazy in real as every series I've seen, but wow. I'm sure there are lots of women in their 20's trying to figure out their lives, and they can relate to at least one of the characters. But for me it was difficult to connect sometimes. Maybe it's the age, or maybe it's that I couldn't connect because my life was totally different, and some of their problems seemed so simple for me. I read this article a few days ago at...

TV Series Review: No Tomorrow & Santa Clarita Diet

Image
I totally forgot to write a review about this series I watched a while ago on Netflix. But better late than never! You know, I love series but I found it difficult to find the time to watch them. I'm most of the day at work, and I have a few hours in the morning that I use to cook, walk my dog and blog. So I mostly watch series at night, but I'm so sleepy! I usually can't watch more than an episode, sometimes even less...maybe that's because I'm old? Hehehe... Santa Clarita Diet They're ordinary husband and wife realtors until she undergoes a dramatic change that sends them down a road of death and destruction. In a good way. Weird, but fun. I honestly wasn't expecting to like this series, but I was surprised to watch all the episodes of the first season in just a few nights. Drew Barrymore is so cool! There is a lot of blood, it was disgusting a few times, but it's funny and sometimes absurd to watch this normal family trying to keep up with the blood...

TV Series Review: Marvel's Jessica Jones

Image
Marvel and Nexflix released a weeks ago a new series about Jessica Jones , a private investigator/failed superhero. I didn’t know what to expect from it, but I started seeing so many tweets and articles saying it was amazing, that I decided we (my boyfriend and I) had to see it. Also, lots of people wanted to see David Tennant (Doctor Who) as a villain, well, it was disturbing. Anyway, we both like everything about superheroes. Well, not everything, but must of it. We watched Daredevil together and really liked it, but you may have notice that it’s unusual to have a whole series dedicated to a female super heroine. I can only remember Supergirl at this time, which was also released a few weeks ago. So I didn’t know anything about this Jessica Jones. My boyfriend’s exact words were: She is a failed class B superhero. Not a lot to start, but what we both found out was that Jessica Jones rules!! I’m just going to say it: This series is amazing and you have to watch it. ...

TV Series I'm watching

Image
Not only I love books, but I really enjoy watching tv series. I thought probably some of you enjoy them too, so I wanted to share the ones I'm watching/following and maybe you'll recommend me others! Outlander is my recent addiction! I haven't read the books, so I can't compare, but I think the show is amazing. It's full of action, drama and yep, romance! Perfect for me, I can't say I love my sappy romances but I really like the combination of strong women, pretty sexy love scene and some dark twists. Randall? I'm hating him with all my guts right now. He's a sadist! Let just say I can't wait for season finale next week.... So...I like Marvel's super heroes, as you can read in my Avengers: Age of Ultron review , so it's kind of weird I'm not into their tv shows. Must be because I thought other super heroes tv shows weren't good, but I must admit that I sometimes watch Flash and I want to start Agents of SHIELD. Let me te...
